The Nursery program offers the internationally recognized Reggio Emilia learning approach. The program is designed using an emergent curriculum where projects and themes are inspired by the children’s own interests. The program promotes students’ learning by encouraging their natural inquisitiveness, initiative and independence. The Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs are inquiry–based, differentiated programs that foster independence and explorative learning. Teachers use developmentally appropriate practices that allow students to explore a variety of ideas and concepts using first-hand experiences and manipulatives. The program adopts a holistic approach involving the teacher, school, child and parents. Children are cared for in a safe, warm environment that fosters their cognitive, physical, language and social and emotional development. Positive reinforcement, having fun and acquiring social competence ensure well-adjusted, happy and successful learners.
